Garmin Vivoactive HR - March 2019

Garmin Vivoactive HR

The Garmin Vivoactive HR is a smartwatch with many excellent features and sports a unique rectangular design. It has all of the main features that many popular smartwatches often neglect, such as a built-in GPS, heart-rate monitor, smartphone notifications, and versatile activity tracking.

This smartwatch sports an impressive 8 day battery life in watch/activity tracking mode, and lasts about 13 hours while using GPS. This is certainly above average among smartwatches, since many other brands require daily or bi-daily charging.

The Garmin Connect app allows you to store your fitness statistics. With these statistics, this app helps you maintain progress, alerts you of milestones, and provides numerous health tips. The Garmin Vivoactive HR is even swim-proof, which allows you to monitor your swim exercises. If you’re not a big swimmer anyways, at least you know that you don’t need to worry about it getting wet!

With the Garmin Face It watch face app, you can customize your device with a photo from your smartphone. The Garmin Vivoactive HR comes in two sizes, regular and X-large. The regular is designed for wrists with a circumference between 136-187mm, while the X-large is designed for wrists with a circumference between 180-221mm.

The Garmin Vivoactive can track just about any activity. Whether your skiing, swimming, or rowing, this smartwatch has got you covered. It even offers a virtual golf game with 40,000 courses for download!
