Introducing the Fossil Q Wander
The Fossil Q Wander was released around the same time as the Fossil Q Marshal. It is classy for a smartwatch, with a very traditional appearance. The interesting thing about the Fossil Q Wander is that it is clearly designed to look more feminine than other Fossil Q devices. The watch case comes in a pretty rose gold color with downward angled lugs, giving it a unique look.
It’s quite large for a smartwatch, with a 45mm case size and a thickness of 13.5mm. This heavier watch can be equipped with leather and stainless steel straps. Clearly, it can be worn in formal environments that probably wouldn’t be appropriate for many other smartwatches.
Being an Android product, the Fossil Q Wander can, of course, use all of the usual Android Wear functions. It is equipped with the well-reviewed Qualcomm Snapdragon 2100 processor. This makes for an efficient and smooth-running smartwatch.
It has a battery life about about 24 hours. Charging is made simple with the ever popular magnetic charging system, which simply attaches to the bottom of the watch.
Alas, if fitness tracking is your main priority, the Fossil Q Wander probably isn’t for you. Not only is it rather bulky, but it also has a pretty minimal focus on fitness, at least when compared to other smartwatches out there.
Most of the Fossil Q products really come down to size and appearance; people either love or hate the bulkiness and style of the watch. The truth is, there are smartwatches with superior features at a more affordable price. However, some people can’t pass up on these uniquely designed smartwatches.
