Fossil Q Marshal vs Q Wander - July 2020

Fossil Q Marshal vs Q Wander

The Fossil Q Marshal and the Fossil Q Wander were released around the same time. These smartwatches come in several different styles with straps made of stainless steel, leather, and silicone. They are quite similar, with the main difference being in appearance.

Below is a picture of the Fossil Q Wander:

The Fossil Q Wander has a circular watch face that is smooth and rounded on the outside. Supposedly, the Q Wander is meant to appeal more to women. It does look noticeably more feminine than the Q Marshal. Partly because it’s standard watch colors are more feminine, such as rose gold. Also, the lugs are rounded and angled downward, giving it a softer look.

Meanwhile, the Fossil Q Marshal is almost serrated on the outside. The watch is far more masculine in appearance. Notice the difference in lugs.

When it comes to features, these watches are essentially the same. They both use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 2100 processor, they both use Android Wear, they are both without a heart-rate monitor, etc. Battery life is also the same.

Though they are each quite bulky for smartwatches, the Fossil Q Marshal is slightly larger than the Q Wander. The cost is identical. Therefore, these watches are more or less the same, with the difference being the Fossil Q Wander is more feminine.

They show great potential to change our lives almost as much, if not just as much, as smartphones have. I'm also an internet entrepreneur that makes my living via tech.
