Fitbit Flex 2

The Fitbit Flex 2 is a nice upgrade from the original Fitbit Flex. This fitness tracker really looks like a bracelet, and can come in either swimwear style or fashionable metal. You can even get a Fitbit Flex 2 pendant, if you prefer to wear it on your neck! These options mean you can make your Fitbit Flex 2 look like a piece of jewelry rather than a fitness tracker, which may be appealing for some people.

Its design is basic, yet effective. There is no multicolor display or screen, but there are coded LEDs used to inform you. The flash alerts are color coded so you will know the difference between a text and a call, for example. It’s also OK to swim with, making it Fitbit’s first swimproof fitness tracker!

Despite being simple in appearance, this device shares many of the same features as other Fitbit products. Here’s a list of some of the Fitbit Flex 2‘s features:

  • SmartTrack automatic exercise recognition
  • Daily activity monitoring
  • Call and text notifications
  • Sleep monitoring
  • Movement notices (to remind you to stay active)

On the downside, the Fitbit Flex 2 lacks a heart-rate monitor and a GPS, which may be deal breakers for some potential buyers. However, it does have a whopping 5 day battery life from a single charge. It’s also compatible with both Android and iPhone devices.
