Introducing the Fitbit Charge 2
The Fitbit Charge 2 is a nice redesign of the original Fitbit Charge HR. The display is larger and higher quality. The bands are interchangeable and come in a variety of colors. This fitness tracker is a great tool for anyone trying to live or maintain an active lifestyle.
The Fitbit Charge 2 has the ability to connect to your phone’s GPS in order to track routes. It has a heart-rate monitor and can conduct guided breathing sessions to lower stress levels. Furthermore, the Fitbit Charge 2 can notify you of calls and texts.
SmartTrack is built-in to the Fitbit Charge 2; it has automatic exercise recognition. This means even if you forget to register an exercise, SmartTrack can detect and record exercises such as walking, cycling, or playing sports. All the while, the PurePulse heart-rate monitor is recording your heart-rate and using this information to help you improve your health.
One of the stronger qualities of the Fitbit Charge 2 is its battery life. Like the Fitbit Blaze, it lasts about 5 days before needing to be recharged. While it is water-resistant, it should not be used while swimming.
