Is Azus ZenWatch 3 Really Waterproof?

Asus ZenWatch 3 is not exactly¬†waterproof. Instead, it’s considered water-resistant. It has an IP67 water-resistance rating. An IP67 rating means that the watch is capable of being submerged in 1 meter (3.3 feet) of water for 30 minutes without getting damaged. However, be aware that exposing the Asus ZenWatch 3 to soaps, shampoos, high velocity water, steam, etc. could be potentially damaging.

Therefore, think of the watch’s water-resistance as a backup, in case you get stuck in the rain, or if you forget to take it off in the shower. However, if you choose to frequently swim with it, and assume it’s fully waterproof, you may be pressing your luck.
